Dr. S. Abraham Ravid, professor of finance and chair of the finance department at Sy Syms School of Business, is also president of the Midwest Finance Association. In addition to helping organize the conference, which had to be moved from March to August 6, he ran the doctoral tutorial and presented a presidential address on human capital finance discrimination and the creative industries.
